AITT accredited half-day course
Used badly, hand pallet trucks can cause great damage – to your stock, the operator, and their colleagues. This important, AITT accredited course covers practical operation and theory to use a pallet truck safely.
The course also meets the recommendations of the Health & Safety Commission’s Approved Code of Practice L117.
Course duration: half day (2 x sessions per day; up to three trainees in each)

- Responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- Operators’ safety code
- Pre-use checks
- Factors affecting truck stability
- Use of controls
- Manouevring in open and confined areas
- Stacking and destacking
- Practical assessment of basic operating skills
