Are you compliant with LOLER 98 and PUWER 98?
Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), you have a duty to make sure all your lifting equipment – including forklifts – carries a recent certificate of Thorough Examination.
Routine servicing alone doesn't cut the mustard with the HSE or British Law. Every operating forklift truck must undergo a Thorough Examination at least once a year.
There are plenty of companies offering this service but how can you be sure you're getting what you really need?
Gold standard inspection
We’re accredited to perform the industry’s own “gold standard” Thorough Examination, through Consolidated Fork Truck Services (CFTS).
It means you’ll get a really thorough test – covering both lifting and non-lifting parts of the truck – to a set procedure, satisfying LOLER 98 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), too.
You wouldn't let your employees drive a car that doesn't have a valid MOT so we're sure you wouldn't let them operate a forklift that hasn't been certified as safe. Don't take risks, we're here to help you ensure that your staff go home in the same way they arrived.
Keeping up to date
You can be sure that any truck supplied by us will have passed it's latest inspection and we'll notify you before it's out of date.
And while it’s on your site, we’ll work with you to establish a regular inspection framework based on your particular workload and environment, to make sure you stay compliant with the LOLER 98 rules. You can even include it in your rental contract for hassle free
