Covid-19 Update

19 March 2020

As a family business, protecting our staff and customers has always been our utmost priority and never more so than now in these unprecedented times. We are very much open for business but would like to reassure you that we are taking every precaution in line with Government guidelines so here’s an update on the measures we’re taking.

At HFT HQ:

Sadly we’ve locked our doors but the good news is that with a glass fronted building, we will see you coming and will happily welcome you in; provided that you are willing to comply with our sanitisation requirements.

We have plenty of hand washing and sanitising equipment which is being regularly and thoroughly used by our team. We have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of our building but now we’ve taken it to the next level!

Our engineers come to the door to collect parts but do not enter the building.

Some members of staff are working from home already and we will extend this where feasible. Any of our team working remotely will have access to our our cloud based system and will be fully contactable.

Mobile Workers:

PDAs will not be handed to customers for signature on completion of jobs but verbal permission from the appropriate contact will be still be sought before being signed off by the engineer.

We have had some requests not to attend site and of course we respect those decisions but we are here to keep our industries rolling with all of our departments ready to help as usual.

Together we can keep this country moving - even if we are a little further apart than we would be normally!

Best Wishes,

Zoe Ferriday & Jamie Crawford
